The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA), is developing an Enhanced Production and Risk Management in Agriculture Integrated Decision Support System (EPRiMA), which aims to develop the capacity of DA to organize and use climate and DRRM-related information coming from different sources and use these in decision-making processes. The dynamic cropping calendar and national agricultural drought monitoring are two of its products.The workshop held June 17–21 highlight these tools and provided information and training for staff of DA Regional Field Offices on incorporating these information into regular operations, and training local government units to use information generated by these tools. The products of PAGASA for climate information, and the datasets at the EPRiMA platform also was discussed in detail. This workshop was hosted by FAO-Philippines and DA. Eunjin Han and Amor Ines from IRI were invited as main trainers for the dynamic cropping calendar tool.
