Regional workshop ‘Herramientas para la conservación climáticamente inteligente: evaluaciones de vulnerabilidad, servicios ecosistémicos y planificación estructurada de la adaptación para metas de conservación’, Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research – IAI. A 4-day regional training course in November 2015 in Quito in collaboration with BirdLife International – Americas Secretariat and the Wildlife Conservation Society. It was attended by 29 participants from all four tropical Andean countries. This course provided training in the tools and methodology developed or employed by the project: Andean climate wizard and Andes version of NatureServe’s Climate Change Vulnerability Index. A plenary session on experiences and lessons learned in real-world climate change adaptation initiatives fostered knowledge exchange and regional networking among workshop participants.
