COLOMBIA
INTRODUCTION
Colombia is situated at the northwestern part of South America. It is
part of the Andean countries.
The Andes reach their northern end in Colombia, forming a massive and
complex structured series of parallel Cordilleras which cut across the
country and naturally sections Colombian climates.
During an ENSO decrease in precipitation are found with large impact
on agriculture and the hydroelectrical sector. Relations between the intensity
of Malaria cases and ENSO have also been established.
