The southeastern part of the country is defiend as the region east of the Paraguay river. The region lies in a transotional zone from
continental summer regimes to maritime winter rains. The results is rainfall all year long with maxima in spring and autumm
and minima in winter and secondary minima in summer. Mean temparaures  are lower than in the western part of the country,
but still reach 30 degress in the summer.
