Very dry condition in all of Central America and in some caribbean islands

 

Central/Southern Chile and Argentina, with winter rain climate, July/August represents the peak in the annual precipitation.

 

Northern South America and Amazon shows deficient precipitation, except for a region in the Venezuelan lowlands.
