Adaptation Measures

Following adaptation options will be evaluated in order to predict the change in productivity.

Water Management (Irrigation, Mulching)
Shade management
Crop management (Antitranspirants etc.)

The optimum options will be tested in the field for their adaptive capacity.

The economic consequences of these options will be evaluated and recommendations will be made to policy makers.

The tea and coconut farmers will be enlightened on the impact and adaptation measures through out-reach programmes
