This is a bunch of ~70 matlab functions related to the general “weather-within-climate” issue. If you use these functions, please report any bugs or errors to rf.egerecnull@norom. I am also interested in any ideas or suggestions for improving these functions and I can offer some time for any modification needed for your precise purpose. I have included some personal references at the end that used these functions and give some examples of analysis using the most sophisticated functions. All the functions work on Matlab releases 5, 6 and 7 and the toolboxes ‘statistic’ and ‘signal’ are needed for some of them. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge every people for discussions around all or some of these functions, especially Andrew Robertson from IRI ( Columbia University, USA ), Nathalie Philippon and Pierre Camberlin from CRC ( Universite de Bourgogne, France ) and Peter Perkins and Tom Lane from Mathworks.
